1 weekend, 6 movies

I happened to watch a lot of films this weekend. I'm not going to do individual reviews or anything, but I'll give a few short words for each - a summary, if you will, just for fun. (they aren't all new films by the by!)

Misery - Um... awkward? This movie is mental, and stress inducing, but brilliant if you love classic thrillers - they really don't make them like this anymore!

Drive Angry - Nic Cage, what can I say? I love him - this was fun, if not a little silly. The sex scene was probably the best one I've ever seen. watch it and you'll understand! Unfortunately it seemed to be edited to hell (pun intended) and wasn't very explanatory as to what was going on etc. But I loved the chemistry between the goody and the baddy! :P

Season of the Witch - wasn't really about a season of any witch. Which was odd, and it was a tad confusing and didn't really hold my interest as much as I would have liked. But I can't fault Mr. Cage's acting. He was good, the whole idea of the film was a bit crap!

I am Number Four - made a fan out of me. I need to buy the book! It was slow to start, but once it got going and the fighting/running/shooting commenced, it was really enjoyable. Nothing says 'great movie' like a cute dog, a hunky teenage boy, and a couple of really good looking gals!

The Tree of Life - never, and I mean NEVER watch this. It was indescribable. But if you DO happen to watch it, will you tell me what it was about? And what Sean Penn was paid for??

Bridesmaids - I didn't find it THAT funny when I was watching it, but I have to say, I've been laughing about it since. The jokes are really much better when you have mulled them over for a while and think back to them. I really want to watch this again without the cinema stocked to the brim with gaggling, giggling, shrieking women! Curse them! :P Love the actors in this though. It could have been a sweet romcom, but it was side tracked by the strange bridesmaid story line, which made me hate women. And I'm a woman. So that's a BAD thing.

Well -that's all kids. Let me know if you saw any of these, and if you agreed or not! :D
